“This event will raise funds for four families who are known to us. The overall situation in Afghanistan is critical, with two-thirds of the population in need of assistance. These families are still inside Afghanistan or in a neighboring country and living “under the radar” of authorities. All have a family member who served with the US military, in the former government, or in the UN system. They are at great risk of harassment or worse.”
